Rich girl, local boy, there is a lot of romance in both and there are villains in the family. Countless films have been made on this one line in Bollywood. Tadap also passes through this path, but here is a twist in the story. "My son was a hero and will remain a hero, what if time made him a villain..." says Ishana's (Ahan Shetty) father with pain in his eyes. After this, the story of the film also shows the journey of Ishana from hero to villain.
'Tadap' is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film 'RX 100', which was based on a real incident. We move ahead without comparing Tadap with the original film. This is the debut film of Ahan Shetty and the director has left no stone unturned to show it from the very first frame of the film. Milan Luthria brings out Ahan Shetty in front of the audience in a full film manner. In the first few minutes itself, we see the hero engrossed in love, yearning for his girlfriend.
Till the interval, Tadap's story looks like the love story of a rich girl and a local boy who is forcibly married off to another boy of her father's choice. But after the interval, the story takes a twist and comes the truth which is the reason behind Ishana and Ramisa's (Tara Sutaria) separation.
